The food at Charco Hotel was fantastic! The poke bowl and beet hummus are a must-try.
I was appalled by the lack of attentiveness from the staff. While some were friendly, our requests often felt brushed aside. The dining experience was chaotic, with our breakfast arriving all at once, making it overwhelming. Additionally, the noise from outside was constant, ruining any chance of relaxation in our room.

The welcoming atmosphere created by Bruno and his wife, who spoke excellent English, made our stay feel personal and homely.
Breakfast took a long time to arrive, and all the food was brought out simultaneously, which made it a bit chaotic.

Our Superior Double Room was a cozy hideaway with comfortable beds and lovely stone walls that really added charm.
While there were snags, like the staff not always going the extra mile and some rude restaurant service, the overall experience still had a warm glow, making it easy to overlook these small bumps.

Charming hotel, welcoming staff, especially in the bar area where you can unwind with views of the river after a busy day exploring the city, and a delicious breakfast with gluten-free options made our stay enjoyable.
